Raised in the shadows of an I-20/59 viaduct in Ensley, Alabama, Dave Roper progressed through various formal and informal educational institutions on his way to becoming a Bessemer street lawyer. In his free time he enjoys volunteering at children’s programs and making muffins.
Alyce has danced for almost 25 years. Alyce is an extremely talented dancer and choreographer. She is the main Company Teacher for McCalla Academy of Dance (M.A.D.), and she has choreographed many award-winning and thought-provoking dances. Most recently, she choreographed the award winning Senior Piece "Break the Silence". This dance received many awards throughout the competition season, including a choreography award. Alyce is also the director of our non-profit "M.A.D. Makes a Difference" program. Alyce coordinates and runs all M.A.D. events that raise money for Dancers Fighting Cancer every year. Alyce loves children of all ages, and she is extremely passionate about helping children through dance.
